Veterans In Defense Of Liberty Action Committee Endorses Ilario Pantano for Congress in North Carolina 7^th Congressional District.

Veterans In Defense Of Liberty Action Committee fully concurs with Ilario Pantano’s pledge to America, "to honor the Constitution as constructed by its framers and honor the original intent of those precepts that have been consistently ignored – particularly the Tenth Amendment, which grants that all powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people."

Springfield,  MO -- (Oct. 4, 2010) ─ At their October meeting Veterans In Defense of Liberty Action Committee voted, unanimously, to endorse Ilario Pantano in his bid for N.C.-07  Dist. U.S. Congressman. The vote of acclamation was taken recalling the words of Thomas Jefferson who said, “One man with courage is a majority.”  

Dr. William S. Magill, president and CEO stated, "Ilario Pantano is a true Patriot, a fellow veteran who has pledged to defend the Constitution and one who truly understands and lives, 'Honor, Duty, Country.'  Pantano has demonstrated that he is truly a statesman, a statesman whose moral compass points to true North.  He is the personification of a statesman described by Samuel Adams, 'If men  of wisdom and knowledge, of moderation and temperance, of patience, fortitude and perseverance, of sobriety and true republican simplicity of manners, of zeal for the honor of the Supreme Being and the welfare of the commonwealth;  if men possessed of these and other excellent qualities are chosen to fill the seats of government, we may expect that our affairs will rest on a solid and permanent foundation.'  Ilario Pantano is not only a friend of genuine philosophical conservative values; he is a, proven, valiant warrior for them."
